Amazon geeft groen licht voor twee God of War seizoenen

Die langverwachte van God of War lijkt er dan toch eindelijk te komen. Nochtans kreeg het project onlangs nog een volledige reboot. Toch heeft Amazon grote plannen voor de Sony franchise, want de tech-gigant heeft al getekend voor twee seizoen van God of War.
Het nieuws werd onthuld door de bekende schrijver en producent Ronald D. Moore, bekend van Battlestar Galactica en Star Trek, tijdens de Sackhoff Show met Katee Sackhoff. Moore verklapte dat hij showrunner was voor God of War serie. Zo vertelde de schrijver dat hij op dit moment werkt aan een adaptatie van de God of War videogame voor het kleine scherm. Ook verraadde hij dat Amazon al twee seizoenen op het oog had en dat het tech-bedrijf hem ingehuurd had om de boel te overzien.
Opvallend genoeg heeft Moore helemaal geen voeling met de God of War franchise, want zijn ervaring met en kennis van videogames beperkt zich tot de arcadekasten uit de jaren 80. Of dat goed komt? Dat valt nog te zien, al heeft Moore al behoorlijk wat krachtige werken op zijn naam staan.
