Far Cry 5 heeft een stevige update gekregen op zowel consoles als pc. De update verhelpt verschillende crashes, problemen met de opslagdata en zorgt voor een verbeterde co-op connectiviteit. Ook de multiplayermodus Arcade krijgt visuele verbeteringen. Over de fout waarbij je in eeuwige duisternis vertoeft, wordt niets vermeld in de patch.

Hurk was trouwens iets te protectionistisch voor de patch. Toen schoot hij de helikopter van je co-opkompaan aan flarden. Gelukkig is die fout rechtgezet met de update en kan je medespeler probleemloos door het luchtruim vliegen.
